Eine Neu-Interpretation der Aussagen und Skizzen Rudolf Steiners zu den Lemniskatenbahnen der Sonne und der Planeten führt zu dem Ergebnis, dass die Sonne im Jahreslauf von der Erde aus betrachtet sich auf einer Kreisbahn am Himmel bewegen kann, selbst wenn sie und die Erde auf Lemniskatenbahnen laufen. Die im ersten Band (TEILE 1 - 3) beschriebenen Dreh- und Schwenkbewegungen der Bahnen, welche sich im Zusammenhang mit der dortigen Interpretation der Aussagen und Skizzen Rudolf Steiners als notwendige Konsequenz ergaben, sind nun nicht mehr erforderlich.
Die Bahnen von Sonne und Erde entsprechen Lemniskaten unterschiedlicher Art. Darüber hinaus handelt es sich um Rotationslemniskaten, jedoch wiederum verschiedener Art. Die einzelnen Schritte zur Lösung des Problems werden ausführlich beschrieben.

A new interpretation of Rudolf Steiner's statements and sketches concerning the lemniscate paths of the Sun and the planets leads to a remarkable conclusion: the Sun can appear to follow a circular path across the sky over the course of a year, even if both the Sun and the Earth move along lemniscate trajectories. The rotational and pivoting motions of the paths described in Volume One (Parts 1-3)—which followed inevitably from the interpretation presented there—are no longer required.
The paths of the Sun and the Earth correspond to two distinct types of lemniscates. Moreover, both are rotational lemniscates, again of two different kinds. The individual steps involved in solving the problem are described in detail.
